Yaotekayotl: “Exploring the Warrior Essence'' teaches the fundamentals of Indigenous Mexican Nahua Martial Arts, including self-defense, breathing techniques, postures, and animal fighting styles. Throughout the course, you will not only learn how to defend yourself, but also gain a deeper understanding of the importance of discipline, integrity, centrality, and consistency in your everyday life. In addition to the physical training, you will also learn about the spiritual significance of the movements, including the connection between body, mind, spirit, and the forces of nature. This holistic approach to martial arts emphasizes the importance of being mindful and present in the moment, which can have a profound impact on your mental and emotional wellbeing.

To honor the sacredness and the safety of our circle, we ask that all participants arrive fully sober and free from the influence of drugs or alcohol. Yaotekayotl requires physical awareness, emotional grounding, and energetic alignment with the group. Being clear and present allows you to move safely, learn with intention, and contribute respectfully to the collective rhythm and reciprocity of the practice. This helps us maintain a space of trust, discipline, and communal care for everyone.

$240 for full Level 1 series
